pets Maltese

I breed Maltese for 25 years and I can claim to have seen many different types.
Outstanding feature of the Maltese coat is so magical and attractive to make the dog almost unreal.
Obviously the baby is born with a very short coat (2/3 mm), pure white like a wad of snow, then over time becomes long without changes, therefore, as our hair, continues to grow.

The Standard speaks very clearly about the quality of the coat of Maltese: "... as a white cape that adheres to your body silky and shiny, from tip of nose to tip of tail not woolly or cottony, like a beautiful white robe of pure Chinese silk.

Obviously, the exhibition subjects are almost unreal having flowing cloaks and long creeping soil always remaining close to the body, the tuft above his head and collected in one or two parts called "top-knots," almost look like dolls bear.

Love and care should be given to the coat of the Maltese that if groomed with a few simple steps will give great satisfaction to those who of dog shows none of it: then brushed a day paying attention to the parts that tend to felting, a strut, front armpit which are subject to friction, due to the movement or to some scratching.
But do not panic! The Maltese can also be groomed short hair for those who does not like to use the brush.
We are skilled groomers that will make your beautiful Maltese with the cut "puppy tream", and free from bulky white skirt can run free in your yard without the hair ruffle and forming bundles.

A dispassionate advice: do not try to copy the grooming experts using comb and scissors. The result would be of poor quality.

Better to buy a good book on the first race and then, after consulting experts and conscientious breeders, get a puppy. You will have a better contact with a race extremely fascinating.
