The Lowchen , also called Little lion dog , Petit chien lion, owes its name to the typical grooming of the coat which gives it the appearance of a little lion, making it unique in the canine.
 
This ancient breed is no news as early as1500 , depicted on tapestries and paintings, unmistakable with its signature grooming.
